Please plan to stay cool:
- Close windows and curtains during the day and open them at night;
- Take a cool shower or bath;
- Identify cool zones inside and outside of homes (like community centres and libraries);
- Place a damp towel on pets;
- Drink plenty of water even when you don鈥檛 feel thirsty;
- Apply ice packs and cool, damp cloths to your wrists and neck;
- Use sunscreen;
- Wear a hat to protect from sun;
- If able, check on others, especially those who live alone or are most at risk;
- Study inside an air-conditioned building.
