Award description

This award recognizes a student who has shown, in a properly documented essay, an outstanding interpretation of an Indigenous work (essay, novel, short story, poem, song, ceremony, film, or piece of orature). Preference is given to an Indigenous student.

Criteria

Criteria

You must:

  • be enrolled in an English course during the current offering or academic calendar year.
  • submit an application and attach their work as a pdf, and please double-space that work. Please omit your name from this document, but add your student number (C number) into the header of each page of the document. Include only work that has been written for an English class at Camosun during the appropriate academic year.
